Let's Communicate!

"Let's communicate!" project, funded by Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme, functioned as the Communication Point of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).

The project aims to maintain and develop further the internal and external communications of the EUSBSR framework. In addition, the project supports the EUSBSR stakeholders in adapting their activities to meet the new Action Plan. The project will contribute to mainstreaming neighbourhood cooperation, adapting Policy Area Work Plans to contribute to EU climate goals and increasing ownership by working together and sharing knowledge.

It has a strong partnership consisting of representatives from several Baltic Sea region countries and pan-Baltic organisations. Centrum Balticum has been in charge of "Let's communicate!" since June 2016, and in autumn 2020, the project was approved for funding to enlarge its activites.

Activities

"Let's communicate!" administers the EUSBSR website, Twitter, Flickr and Youtube accounts. The project gathers current information about EUSBSR developments to its communication channels, promotes the use of the EUSBSR visual identity and provides with communication support and tools to the EUSBSR stakeholders. In addition, the project will reach out to new target groups in order to attract new stakeholders to take part in action.

In addition, the project provides support for the Policy Areas both in addressing non-EU cooperation and in aligning their work with the EU climate policy objectives. Sense of community and ownership of the EUSBSR is strengthened through meetings and communication outputs.
