Project description:
EU climate policy in the Baltic Sea provided basic information on the impact of climate change on Europe and the Baltic Sea Region, as well as on how EU climate policy aims to mitigate global warming and promote adaptation to climate change also in the Baltic Sea Region.
Objectives:
- Strengthening the participation of the City of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region in Baltic Sea regional cooperation, in line with the implementation of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR).
- To bring together local and regional actors across the Baltic Sea Region to foster dialogue, understanding and joint initiatives.
- To organise roundtable discussions and meetings that supported networking, project planning and partnership-building between EU and Russian stakeholders.
