Project description:

Cohesion through EUSBSR was a communication campaign highlighting the benefits of EU Cohesion Policy in the Baltic Sea Region. The project showcased EU-funded transnational and cross-border initiatives and their beneficiaries, demonstrating how they contribute to the objectives of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR): saving the sea, connecting the region and increasing prosperity. Through storytelling and multi-channel communication, the campaign illustrated the real-life impacts of EU-funded cooperation across the macro-region.

Objectives:

  • Increase awareness of the benefits and impact of EU Cohesion Policy in the Baltic Sea Region.
  • Highlight EU-funded transnational and cross-border projects supporting the objectives of the EUSBSR.
  • Communicate the human dimension of EU cooperation by sharing stories of people involved in or benefiting from EU-funded projects.

Key actions & results:

  • Implemented a multi-channel communication campaign featuring videos, photos and written stories about EU-funded projects and their beneficiaries.
  • Highlighted examples of projects contributing to the objectives of the EUSBSR across the Baltic Sea Region.
  • Increased the visibility of both EU Cohesion Policy and the EUSBSR through coordinated communication activities.
