We support cooperation and development in the Baltic Sea Region through communication, coordination and networks. Our work includes international projects, coordination of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region, and expert publications that promote dialogue and knowledge-sharing. As an independent, non-profit foundation, we connect actors across borders and sectors.

Welcome to the Baltic Sea Region Forum on Monday 4 May 2026 at the University of Turku or online! This year’s theme of the Forum – Security in Northern Europe and the Arctic – offers timely perspectives on challenges that cut across borders.

The programme consists of keynote speakers and three panel discussions:

  • Strategic Competition in the High North
  • Strategic Intelligence and the Region
  • Critical Natural Resources and Logistical Infrastructure

Forum programme, more info and registration can be found at the event website.

The Baltic Sea Region Forum brings together people interested in the development of the Baltic Sea area to discuss the events shaping our common future. The event provides a possibility for experts from different sectors to meet and share their knowledge. Centrum Balticum has organised the Baltic Sea Region Forum annually since 2008.
