Project description:

The Let’s Communicate! project strengthened and developed the communication of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region (EUSBSR). The project aimed to improve both internal and external communication of the Strategy, increasing its visibility, coherence and stakeholder engagement across the Baltic Sea Region.

During its extended phase (2019–2022), the project also supported Policy Areas and Horizontal Actions in aligning their activities with EU climate objectives and neighbourhood cooperation. The project’s work laid the foundation for the Baltic Sea Strategy Point, which continued these coordination and communication tasks after the project ended in 2022.

Objectives:

  • Implement the EUSBSR Communication Strategy and strengthen coordination between internal and external communication.
  • Increase the visibility and coherence of the Strategy by acting as the EUSBSR Communication Point.
  • Support Policy Areas and stakeholders in aligning their activities with the revised Action Plan, including climate objectives and neighbourhood cooperation.

Key actions & results:

  • Managed the EUSBSR communication channels, including the website and social media, and promoted the use of the Strategy’s visual identity and communication tools.
  • Provided communication support, guidance and capacity building for EUSBSR stakeholders and Policy Areas.
  • Strengthened cooperation and ownership of the Strategy by sharing best practices, supporting stakeholder engagement and laying the groundwork for future communication structures.
