Project description:
BALEX (Baltic Area Legal Studies) is an international legal competence cluster established in Turku in 2014 by the University of Turku and Åbo Akademi University. The initiative was created to address the lack of legal research and training focused on governance and regulation in the Baltic Sea Region. BALEX promoted legal research, interdisciplinary academic and professional training, and public events related to legal issues affecting the Baltic Sea.
