Project description:

The project aimed to strengthen the role and visibility of Southwest Finland in Baltic Sea cooperation by improving coordination and awareness among regional actors. It supported networking between universities, organisations and other stakeholders involved in Baltic Sea issues and developed communication tools to highlight regional expertise and activities. Through meetings, publications and outreach activities, the project helped position Southwest Finland as an active contributor to Baltic Sea cooperation.

Objectives:

  • Strengthen cooperation and networking among Baltic Sea actors in Southwest Finland.
  • Increase the visibility of regional expertise and activities related to Baltic Sea cooperation.
  • Improve public awareness and communication on Baltic Sea issues through publications, events and outreach activities.

Key actions & results:

  • Strengthened regional cooperation by connecting Baltic Sea stakeholders and organising meetings and networking activities.
  • Developed communication tools and information platforms highlighting Baltic Sea actors and activities in the region.
  • Produced publications, events and outreach activities that increased public awareness of Baltic Sea issues and regional cooperation.
