The Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme has approved ECOPRODIGI -project, which aims to enhance the eco-efficiency of shipping through digitalization. Centrum Balticum is responsible for communications in the project.

31.05.2017 Economy and security discussed at the Baltic Sea Region Forum
10th annual Baltic Sea Region Forum was successfully held on May 30 at the Turku School of Economics. The event gathered more than 200 experts from several countries and backgrounds to discuss the impacts of international turbulence on the economic development of the Baltic Sea region. The day accompanied with lively debate and maritime music by The Navy Band of the Finnish Defense Forces finally climaxed to an evening reception hosted by the City of Turku.

After the luncheon seminar Ambassador Olefirov gave a presentation at a public lecture organized by the Pan European Institute at the Turku School of Economics.

14.03.2017 Esko Aho: The development of EU and Finland’s economic relations with Russia
Centrum Balticum together with City of Turku held a luncheon seminar with the executive Chairman of The Board, East Office of Finnish Industries and former Prime Minister of Finland (1991–1995), Esko Aho on the 8th of March 2017. Following the seminar, Aho gave an open guest lecture at the Turku School of Economics concerning the EU-Russia economic relations.
