New book project by BALEX studies the role of the EU in the Baltic Sea Region
BALEX has kicked off a new project, EUBalt, that focuses on the role of the European Union in Baltic Sea region cooperation and regulation. The output of the project will be an edited book, constituting a collection of articles.
- the EU as a regional actor in the region
- the EU’s role in BSR cooperation in comparison with its participation in other regional cooperation
- EU's involvement in issues of key importance for the region, such as environmental governance, eutrophication, climate change, maritime transport and logistics
- EU cooperation with Russia in a regional setting
The project combines legal, institutional and political science and public administration approaches.
The main outcome of the EUBalt project will be a book in the form of collection of articles, published in 2022. This would be the first comprehensive publication on this subject.
