First SmartComp Research report out!
The first SmartComp Research report, Maritime cluster analysis on the Central Baltic region, was published in December 2012.
The report studies the competitiveness of the maritime clusters in the Central Baltic region by first describing the competitive situation of each country and then by identifying the clusters’ key competences, common challenges and recommended actions for supporting the region’s future competitiveness.
Maritime clusters of the Central Baltic region (CBR) operate rather separately and compete with each other, even though they face common challenges. In order to maintain competitiveness the CBR maritime clusters have to increase international cooperation among companies and political decision‐makers, concludes the newly published research report.
